eCommerce Manager, SEA

Job Description

In your role as eCommerce Manager, SEA, you will play a pivotal role in JDE eCommerce within the SEA region. You will be an active member of the SEA eCommerce Center of Excellence Team (COE) and will actively participate into the new dynamic of our fast-growing coffee business on the on-line channel. You will be reporting to Head of e- Commerce, South East Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defines & develops strategic pillars to drive growth across the region
  • Ensure perfect implementation of the basics of eCommerce in the region to build on solid foundation for future sustainable growth
  • Win with the winner, with perfect activations for key Events in eCommerce platforms
  • Build strong relationship and JBP with external stakeholders such as eRetailers, Marketplaces, 3rd parties and partners
  • Lead a test & learn approach from this extremely dynamic region, that can be shared with the eCom Global community
  • Accompany the fast moving retailers Lazada/AliBaba/ Shopee/ Redmart/ Amazon etc  in their tests and new services, to gain a 1st mover advantage in Coffee
  • Collaborate closely with the local marketing team to develop a differentiated e-commerce channel marketing and sales activation plan to drive key metrics , quality ads content and traffic acquisition
  • Define analysis tools and dashboards to test and learn fast and nurture the JDE eCommerce strategy in the region.
  • Identify and support any new or additional business opportunities, to improve, step change or create a breakthrough for the eCommerce channel, for eg, channel development, product development to operational improvements, innovations etc.
  • Identify and close performance gaps at country
  • Deliver business KPIs: Nos, GP, MarketShares, Share of Search, Eventing
  • Partnership collaborations with external partners to drive higher value to our brands and eCommerce platforms
  • Any other ad-hoc matters

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or related field (or equivalent commercial experience)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in eCommerce Business development, including Sales development, Financials acumens, data analysis and Supply Chain optimizations
  • Experience with FMCG within a digital environment, and/or Digital Marketplace (Lazada, Ali, Amazon, Redmart, Pandamart, Tik tok) is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge on how to win at eCommerce channels : Grocery on-line, PurePlayers, MarketPlace, Direct to consumers, and social commerce such as Tik tok etc
  • Strong understanding of all online KPIs controlling performance and ROI.
  • Strong analytical skills with strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Self starter with a high degree of initiative
  • Ability and desire to work at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Attention to detail and organised
  • Commercially minded and extremely driven.
